Norina Abdul Gafor is an experienced optometrist currently serving at the Ophthalmology Department of Kuala Lumpur. She holds a Master of Optometry from the University of New South Wales and a Bachelor of Optometry from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. With extensive experience in binocular vision, orthoptics, pediatric eye care, and managing vision-related learning difficulties, she has contributed significantly to her field.
Norina has worked in various hospitals, including Hospital Duchess of Kent, Sandakan and Hospital Teluk Intan, and is actively involved in national-level committees, including the Orthoptics and Binocular Vision Committee, Research Committee for Optometrist Officers, and SOP Development Committee under Malaysia’s Ministry of Health (MOH). She has presented research at prestigious conferences, such as the 13th Conjoint Ophthalmology Scientific Conference 2024.
Her passion for eye care extends beyond clinical practice, as she continues to engage in research and development to enhance patient outcomes.
